I was traveling through a construction zone a few minutes ago where construction crews were busy doing road re-surfacing. Hot on my heels was a small, sporty type car. As I looked ahead I could see several raised manhole covers scattered here and there, the leading edge painted bright fluorescent orange. As I dodged the first “manhole mine” the small car behind me didn’t have time to react so he/she hit it. Figuring there was only one manhole in this 6km construction zone, the small car stayed nice and tight and proceeded to hit the next eight or so man holes, swerving erratically each time.
The driver left me baffled…
