Got up early, strapped on the skis, walked out the back door and skied down the slope to the chair lift. This time we stayed on Blackcomb mountain except for lunch when we jumped on the Peak-2-Peak gondola over to Whistler mountain for lunch.
Did a lot of skiing today, went all the way up to 7th Heaven… what a view! It was coming down from 7th Heaven that the ‘incident’ occurred… Paul had a tumble. When you are coming down from 7th Heaven, you HAVE to stay on the trail, if not you get into trouble. Paul wasn’t able to stick to the trail after a tight turn, I think it was turn number one. He is in bad shape with a sore hip… he refused the ‘ski-stretcher’ and decided to ski down… probably a mistake. I had a great day skiing, even finished the day off with a run down a ‘blue’ trail! Skied right back into our hotel… awesome.
Went into the Village for supper and a Beavertail… did a little shopping too.
