Weight for It

LoseIt

I’ve worked so hard to get this weight off only to put a ton on again, very disheartening and I know why…

Travelling, on business, you tend to eat poorly. Actually, you tend to eat very well and that’s the problem.

When travelling I’ll have oatmeal and coffee for breakfast, some kind of large sandwich for lunch and a nice sit down dinner that will probably include a pint. At home, I’ll have a granola bar and a glass of milk for breakfast, some healthy snacks mid-morning, maybe a salad for lunch and a semi-healthy meal for dinner.

The absolute crap I eat sometimes is mitigated by the exercise I do every day of the week; spinning, weights and soccer.

Something else I don’t do while travelling is exercise, none, nada, zilch. Of course the injury I got last Friday playing soccer hasn’t helped and could cause further weight gain.

Here’s what I’m going to do about it…

Those who follow this blog will know that I love challenges, use them all the time to keep me on the straight and narrow. Starting now, I’m challenging myself to get back to where I was regardless of my travel plans or injuries. I am away next week and plan to do the following:

  • Eat healthy meals and snacks
  • Exercise (using hotel swimming pool)
  • Walk or maybe limp at least once a day

How will you know it worked? Or didn’t work?

Weight for It…

I plan on creating another post called The Weight is Over in exactly two weeks, on April 28th . It’s already in my calendar. The graph above is a screenshot from my Lose It! account… it bloody well better be down.

There, I’ve been challenged.
